![]() ![]() In the past 20 months, we have literally watched out daughter grow up in this crib. LOL Those Baby Blues are no joke, are they?! I cried because Biker Bob took her into her nursery for the very first time without me. Then one morning in early Fall we brought our precious Lily Bean home from the hospital. We chose our bedding, picked the paint, and so on and so forth. My dad, a very proud Pop Pop-to-be, bought the crib (and the rest of the nursery furniture) for his future granddaughter.įurther decisions were made, but they all revolved around that beauty of a crib. I thought it was classy, attractive and loved the idea that it would grow with the child using the convertible option. I instantly fell in love with the Simplicity Ellis 4 in 1 Convertible Crib (black). I knew that when I saw the perfect crib for my baby, I would just know. I searched near and far and spent countless hours online researching baby gear, furniture, and decor. Apparently preparing for a baby is like throwing 10 weddings… with just 9 months to plan them all. I remember shaking my head thinking that wedding planning had seemed like a lot of work. By late Spring I was caught up in a whirlwind of planning and preparing. Lily Bean was on her way, due to arrive in September. Let’s step back in time for a minute, shall we? Spring, 2008. Actually, that title was a rather whimsical, lighthearted jab at the unplanned craziness that was our weekend. ![]()
